A little bit about OTC life, definitely not all work and no play!!....
Over the last four years i have been a member of Birmingham University Officer
Training Corps. It has been a great deal of fun and a lot of hard work on the
odd weekend and at annual camp. Last year we went to Garelochead in Scotland.
It was a brilliant two weeks, however the CO's 4 day exercise was a tough
Challenge. I took the opportunity to take a break and capture what i really
looked like with full combats and full kit, plus camoflage in a very
picturesque spot. The result.......

The OTC is not all work and no play, a perfect example was our skiing trip in
January this year. A friend of mine organised an unofficial OTC jaunt to
Borovetz in Bulgaria. As his name is Ashley, the trip became more affectionately
called Ashtours!!! We had a really wicked time, 50p for a double spirit, 50p
for a pint, what could go wrong....?? That is another story i might tell here
later. We had some fresh snow and enjoyed the skiing. (it was sunny too..
bonus!) I would like to thank Ashley for organising the trip and hope he does
it again soon!! We also partied on down in the Clubs every night and did
karaoke in the "Black Tiger" as a warm up......

During our Trip there was some good skiing to be enjoyed and some pretty good
scenery to take in as well! When the clouds gave way to the sun it seemed like
